QUEEN ELIZABETH PARK DELIGHTED TO RECEIVE SECOND COVID VACCINE

We are proud to support the roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccination in our home, boosting our existing safety measures and bringing a much-welcomed light at the end of the tunnel.

Speaking of receiving her second immunisation jab, our resident Freda says: “I’m so happy to be fully vaccinated, it feels wonderful.”

A sentiment shared by residents and team members alike. Lifestyle Coordinator Aneta adds that: “Everyone is absolutely delighted to have received their second vaccination and we’re looking forward to brighter days ahead.”

Similarly reassured, Queen Elizabeth Park’s Home Manager Heather De-Ninis, told us: “We are proud to be part of the national vaccine programme and play our part in protecting not only our residents but also our community here in Guildford. It’s an important step in making sure our home is as safe as it can possibly be.”

As lockdown restrictions start to ease, we will continue to work in line with national and local guidance regarding the stringent upkeep of our enhanced safety measures that have been in place over the past year. This includes regular testing for team members and residents, high-quality PPE worn at all times by all members of our team, enhanced cleaning schedules, and regular reviews of our approach to ensure we remain at the forefront of the fight against Covid-19.
