HEATHFIELD COURT DELIGHTED TO RECEIVE SECOND COVID VACCINE

We are proud to support the roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccination in our home, boosting our existing safety measures and bringing a much-welcomed light at the end of the tunnel.

Speaking of receiving her second immunisation jab, our resident Pam says: “I’m feeling good and looking forward to getting back to normal now I’ve had both vaccines.”

A sentiment shared by residents and team members alike. Chef Daniel tells us he was delighted to have been fully vaccinated. Lifestyle Coordinator Donna adds: “I feel reassured that this will help us keep everyone safe whilst continuing to deliver care.”

Similarly relieved, Heathfield Court’s Home Manager Gina Kitchenham, told us: “To be able to offer our residents and team this life-saving vaccine has been simply wonderful. It’s an important step in making sure our home is as safe as it can possibly be.”

As lockdown restrictions start to ease, we will continue to work in line with national and local guidance regarding the stringent upkeep of our enhanced safety measures that have been in place over the past year. This includes regular testing for team members and residents, high-quality PPE worn at all times by all members of our team, enhanced cleaning schedules, and regular reviews of our approach to ensure we remain at the forefront of the fight against Covid-19.
