CLAREMONT COURT PROUD TO SUPPORT ROLLOUT OF COVID VACCINE

With an air of anticipation and hope for the year ahead, the first of two doses was administered by our health partners from the local community to excited residents and team members in January.

Speaking of her father Frank receiving his immunisation jab, Clare told us: “I wasn’t expecting this surge of emotion…The far-reaching implications of dad having his vaccine mean that in not too long we can sit side by side.”

Our resident Patricia said: “I am happy I have had my vaccine, I can’t wait to socialise outside the home!”

Similarly reassured, Home Manager Karen Byres said: “We are so proud to be part of the national roll-out of the vaccine and play our part in protecting not only our residents but also our community.”

As we work with our health partners to roll out the second dose of the vaccine, we continue with the stringent upkeep of our enhanced safety measures that have been in place over the past year. This includes regular testing for team members and residents, high-quality PPE worn at all times by all members of our team, enhanced cleaning schedules, and regular reviews of our approach to ensure we remain at the forefront of the fight against Covid-19.
