Claremont Court Open Day

Claremont Court Care Home in Guildford hosted an Open Day on 6th August 2013.

Claremont Court is a modern, bright and comfortable care home that boasts excellent care, a wonderful garden and an extensive activities programme for all its residents.

The Open Day took place from 10am – 4pm. The home opened up to members of the local community who are looking for a care home for themselves or a loved one. Visitors had the opportunity to look around the home and gardens, speak to the staff and ask any questions they have. Complimentary tea and cakes was provided throughout the day.

There was also a discussion on Redefining Dementia Care by James Wilson, Dementia Expert and Lecturer at Southampton University. James led the interactive discussion on the subject of living with dementia and was on hand to provide advice and answer any questions visitors had on the subject.

Nicola Palladino, Claremont Court Care Home Manager, said: “We look forward to welcoming visitors to Claremont Court so they can see what a wonderful place it is for residents. Choosing a care home can be a very difficult and emotional decision, but we hoped to provide a good insight into how Claremont Court provides a real home away from home for everyone who lives here.”
