BROOKLANDS DELIGHTED TO RECEIVE SECOND COVID VACCINE

We are proud to support the roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccination in our home, boosting our existing safety measures and bringing a much-welcomed light at the end of the tunnel.

Speaking of receiving her second immunisation jab, our resident Sylvia says: “I’m mightily happy!” A sentiment shared by everyone including resident Betty who tells us that: “I’m extremely happy and feel I can relax a little now.”

Lifestyle Coordinator, Claudia adds: “I feel really thankful to have had my second vaccine. We can all start to move forward now.”

Similarly reassured, Brooklands Home Manager, Julia Chapman-Wright, told us: “To be able to offer our residents and team this life-saving vaccine has been simply wonderful. It’s an important step in making sure our home is as safe as it can possibly be.”

As lockdown restrictions start to ease, we will continue to work in line with national and local guidance regarding the stringent upkeep of our enhanced safety measures that have been in place over the past year. This includes regular testing for team members and residents, high-quality PPE worn at all times by all members of our team, enhanced cleaning schedules, and regular reviews of our approach to ensure we remain at the forefront of the fight against Covid-19.
