Brooklands resident celebrates 100th birthday!

Brooklands care home in Drayton celebrated a very special birthday last Friday.

Marjorie Eugenie Wright, affectionately known as Peggy, turned 100 years old on Friday 11 October and her family joined her for a party at the care home to celebrate the special occasion.

Marjorie was born in Hingham in Norfolk and was one of seven children. She has lived at Brooklands since 2009 and loves her time there.

Marjorie was delighted to receive a card from The Queen and had a wonderful afternoon with her family, the other residents and the staff at Brooklands.
