ACORN COURT PROUD TO SUPPORT ROLL-OUT OF COVID VACCINE

With an air of anticipation and hope for the year ahead, the first of two doses was administered by our health partners from the local community to excited residents and team members in January.

Speaking of receiving her immunisation jab, our resident Kay says: “I’m happy I’ve had the vaccine as it will help protect our home and keep everyone safe.”

Nurse Eme told us: “Receiving the vaccine feels great as we all want to keep our lovely residents safe and well. I’m glad it’s proving so popular.”

Similarly reassured, Acorn’s Court’s Home Manager Noelia Fernandes said: “To be able to offer our residents and team this life-saving vaccine has been simply wonderful. It’s an important step in making sure our home is as safe as it can possibly be.”

As we work with our health partners to roll out the second dose of the vaccine, we continue with the stringent upkeep of our enhanced safety measures that have been in place over the past year. This includes regular testing for team members and residents, high-quality PPE worn at all times by all members of our team, enhanced cleaning schedules, and regular reviews of our approach to ensure we remain at the forefront of the fight against Covid-19.
