Lois Reed is nominated as this year’s Heart of Gold Ambassador at Bramley Court Care Home.
Lois Read, a care assistant at Bramley Court, has won a Heart of Gold Award at a ceremony on Tuesday 17th January.
The Awards seek to recognise employees for their dedication and commitment in providing high quality care and compassion to all the home’s residents.
Juliette Oates, manager of Bramley Court said: “We have so many wonderful staff here at Bramley Court. But Lois richly deserves to be awarded as this year’s ambassador. She is an inspiration to us all and much loved by our residents”.

Nominations for the award came from residents and their relatives, co-workers, social workers and local health professionals. Lois was chosen from the list of nominations by a panel of previous Heart of Gold award winners from all the other homes in Bramley Court’s group.
Lois said: “I am so thrilled to be awarded this year’s Heart of Gold ambassador at Bramley Court. I feel very privileged to be recognised in this way and thank all my colleagues. I am an ordinary person with a wonderful job in a wonderful home”.
