Frank Pace is nominated as this year’s Heart of Gold Ambassador at Ashbrook Court Care Home.
Frank Pace, a care assistant at Ashbrook Court, has won a Heart of Gold Award at a ceremony on Tuesday 21st February.
The Awards seek to recognise employees for their dedication and commitment in providing high quality care and compassion to all the home’s residents.
Juliette Oates, manager of Ashbrook Court said: “I am really delighted for Frank, he is so popular with residents, relatives and his colleagues. Frank has worked at Ashbrook Court since 2013 and is a valued team player. Congratulations Frank, we are all very proud of you.”
Frank was presented with an Emporio Armani watch to commemorate his success by Alnur Dhanani, Chairman of Carebase, the company that owns Ashbrook.
Nominations for the award came from residents and their relatives, co-workers, social workers and local health professionals. Frank was chosen from the list of nominations by a panel of previous Heart of Gold award winners from all the other homes in Ashbrook Court’s group.
Frank said: “I am honoured and delighted to receive this recognition, but I would like to accept it on behalf of all my colleagues at Ashbrook Court as we are a strong team, all committed to improving and making a difference to our residents lives”.
Altogether there were 28 nominees for the award at Ashbrook Court and all nominees received a Heart of Gold lapel pin.
