Water Mill House is a new purpose-built care home, providing residential, nursing and dementia care. Our approach is one of compassion. We are committed to upholding the utmost dignity and respect for everyone in our care. We are interested in the whole person. That is why we ensure our carers not only have the expertise to care well, but also that they have the heart for it.

Our care home features 65 en-suite bedrooms that are well-appointed, feel spacious and are large enough to feel comfortable to enjoy quiet and private moments. But there is more than this. We have incorporated a number of features that enable residents to retain their independence and reinforce meaningful occupation, providing opportunities to retain domestic living activities and help orientation. The home has also been designed to promote community and family living.

We want our residents to enjoy every moment with us, whether this is indulging in their passions, going along on the many trips we organise or having fun at one of the many events we host.

The quality of our décor and furnishings is uplifting, relaxing and homely enough to make anyone happy to socialise or settle to read a book or paper. Residents want and deserve choices. At Water Mill House, they can wake up in the morning, have breakfast and a chat with friends, stroll down to the hair salon, go to the cinema room to watch a movie or visit the library for an extensive selection of books.

Moving your loved one’s life into a new home can be daunting and emotionally challenging, and our team goes out of its way to help them settle in. We begin by finding out as much as possible about those coming in to our care, and ask for your help in doing this. We believe that by taking the time to understand each individual, their likes and dislikes, and their life stories, we can provide personal care with a real difference.

This valuable information can help us specifically tailor the environment to their needs.
